2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;

On vinyl. Young guitar wizard playing bluesy music.
During workout, more interesting then I thought...

Yesterdays listening

First of today.
Was yesterday my last one...

Again quite different from others...

On CD:-

Wilco - A Ghost is Born

Nirvana. Unplugged In New York. On CD from 1994. I've heard only a fraction of the Unplugged performances but this one along with Clapton's are my favorites.

(2015)
Rather good melodic and minimalist Berlin School ambient from Paul Lawler.
A voice that just gets better with age.

Horse Dance by Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation
(2015)
A couple of Bandcamp patrons sum up Horse Dance nicely:
"I find the label psychedelic off putting at times but thankfully took a leap of faith with this. This album brings together the "trance with guitars" drone rock of Loop, Can and early Stooges and combines it with the pop sensibilities of Siouxsie and Goldfrapp. PLAY IT LOUD....."
"Hypnotiyque, groovy, rythmique motorik, impressionnant premier album"

The Stones' hits in chronological order over three Cd's.
Ripping this before putting it into the car..............much off key singing predicted.

Especially good is the cover copy of Bowie's classic

Good quality 1979 UK reissue of '76 LP. Jazz-funk. Nice.
