More immersive ambient electronic music, the sort of thing that would fit nicely as the soundscape to slow paced sci-fi movie.
I ended last evening with this album, this guy is quite good and it's curious that he isn't as famous
Triggered by the Chopin post..
America. Human Nature. On HDCD from 1998. Bunnell and Beckley's seventh studio album after Dan Peek had left the trio two decades earlier. Well recorded and produced, there's a couple of familiar early America-sounding tracks, but mostly a mundane album to me.
Don McLean. American Pie. On an early vinyl release from 1971. Everyone knows the title track, but the entire album is very good as well.
Misfiled on my CD shelves and I finally stumbled across it tonight. I've been wanting to play this after hearing parts of the New World Symphony used last month on, of all places, ESPN in conjunction with a documentary about, of all people, OJ Simpson.
A worthy follow up to their last album which I think was about 15 years ago

My first taste of Rokia's music was with her album Beautiful Africa. She has a penetrating yet serene voice and her albums are very colourful and you can almost smell the landscape of her Malian roots.

@DAV301 - that's a really good idea - haven't heard POB in years! Now playing the 30th anniversary CD, which comes with extra tracks as well as the Bambu sessions
This album has been a slow burner for me over the years and now only fully appreciated (rather than just picking out the singles)
