2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

Get some 90's in.
Superb British Blues.
Back to the 80's on vinyl
Not played this for a while... vinyl and loving it
an interesting offering from Bryan Ferry, nothing really spectacular, but nothing really unpleasant either. Hints of jazz with a pop/contemporary flow probably the best way to describe it.

More female fronted Goth metal. In my view Within Temptation do this style of music (and theatre) much better than Nightwish, Sharon den Adel's voice is really excellent, fitting this genre so well.
I still remeber how these were sold straight from the warehouse pallets. Seems like yesterday – where did all those years go…

Some Chris Cornell on vinyl. Very good recording and a most enjoyable listen.

I saw that magazine/LP in Smiths earlier on (and an ad in the Guardian) but I couldn't see the source/mastering/pressing info. Has it been made legitimately with Sony involvement, or perhaps by Music on Vinyl? Not that I need another copy of this!

The impact of the lead guitar riff used to get the attention but for me it's the power of the piano. Oh, and the longer version on this is better, of course.

The latest offering from Neil Young, on vinyl. Very good SQ for a live recording.

Apparently for all of them they have"...gone back to the master tapes .... and re-released on 180g virgin vinyl"
It sounded mighty good to me and worth the punt at £4.99

Thanks, Richard - I found the Hoffman thread in the interim and see you have posted there too - unless someone else has stolen your username! I might get the Coltrane which is up next as I don't have that on vinyl.

One of my favourite bands
It's an old Atlantic record and sounds like heaven.
I've raved before about this album for both quality of the music and the fantastic reproduction quality. Listening to it now through my 300DR, it seems to be giving even more. Absolutely superb!
