2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;

A little inspiration from the Sepultura post from earlier. I've seen Sepultura 3 times on tour with Ozzy. Max is great!

The Steve Miller Band. Book Of Dreams. On original vinyl from 1977. Might be Stevie's best album? Standard fare for me on 8-track while driving to high school back in the day.

The Band. Greatest Hits. On CD from 2000. Though I feel The Band is best appreciated on original vinyl, this is a nice compilation with good SQ and a great primer into their music.

Brilliant double album of remixed 1970s soul / funk.

Tidal washes in nicely to fill a gap in my YB collection.
This morning I enjoyed Grieg Lyrical Pieces from Steven Hough - I would definitely recommend this one.
Had this one on last night, very enjoyable and special kind of jazz vocalist...

Coincidentally I was wandering around shopping in Sainsburys earlier today with this theme tune going round inside my head... I must give it a spin soon.

Another really good album from APC, Maynard James Keenan seems to do no wrong with whatever band he fronts and associates with, Tool, A Perfect Circle and latterly Puscifer are all well worth discovering.
Miles Davis Live at the Nice Festival..., quite interesting...

Disc 2 from this set. Surprisingly good reproduction quality. The Green Manalishi sounding particularly good ![]()
