2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;

Very nice mid-70s US ABC Records pressing. "Your Gold Teeth" and "Show Biz Kids" are worth the price of entry on their own.

I have not heard this though I know the first track from a live release. Thanks for the prompt, there is a lot of his stuff I need to explore.

"Caustic Love" from Paolo Nutini...............................quality Southern soul.............Southern Scotland, that is!
One of my "Desert Island Discs".......................from a seriously talented, yet underrated singer / songwriter.

Future Islands - "Singles" (2014)

Top, top album.....................well reminded..............it's next on here.
Back to the standards: UK first press Liberty mono LP from 1962, sounding amazing...

The War On Drugs - "Lost In The Dream" (2014)

Ending the evening with some smooth blues, from the ever reliable Eric Bibb. ![]()

Late period Bill accompanied by Eddie Gomez on bass and Elliot Zigmund on drums. The pianist is on magnificent form, relaxed and inventive, offering up superb readings of his own classics like "Sugar Plum", "Waltz For Debbie"and the masterpiece "TTTT". Standout cut for me though is a lovely and inventive readsing of the sainted Bobbie G's wonderful "Morning Glory". Taken from a Swiss radio broadcast, this CD has excellent SQ.

Can't say I love their music but I do love their live performances. That guy is wild.
On CD:-

An official recording of a Chris Rea concert from 1997
Ha! Just been listening to Dancing Down the Stony Road. Fab stuff.
Pearl Jam-Ten
Radiohead-OK Computer
Smashing Pumpkins-Siamese Dream
A truly international effort, this is a Japanese release of an Italian trio doing Brazilian music:

Stefano Bollani Trio playing the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim.

My Favorite of his 37 studio albums.
I thought I met a man
Who said he knew a man
Who knew what was going on
I was mistaken
Only another stranger
That I knew
And I thought I had found a light
To guide me through
My night and all this darkness
I was mistaken
Only reflections of a shadow
That I saw
And I thought I'd seen someone
Who seemed at last
To know the truth
I was mistaken
Only a child laughing
In the sun
Ah, ah, ah...
In the sun...

Just had a look at this, thought I had most of Garcia's stuff but I don't know this. Is it available.
Thanks.
