I am also listening to the first song he has laid down from an up and coming album as yet untitled and with no release date.

Very powerful, but open sound.

This guy is one of my favorite modern players, have seen him also multiple times live...

Haven't played this since I acquired my current main system.  Magnificent.  CD rip.

"Magnificent" is wholly justified in describing this album.

Enjoying a bit of Roxy before dinner.  Apart from the iconic title track, I've also always particularly liked While My Heart Is Still Beating  from this album.

If you like big band stuff you will love this.

Check out the tracks Sister Sadie and, if your system is up to it, the drums on Sing, Sing, Sing will thump you in the chest. Best listened to loud when the neighbours are out!

It is on Tidal.

Had a listen to his one Tidal triggered by the deal of the day for this item on eclassical. While it's in a way testing the system, the combination of low and soprano, it's not exciting enough for me to buy. For others it might be different of course, as it's special...

Now listening to this loud.... Is I think the first time I listen it in full.. The burden of a big collection.....

This morning I had this one. Recommended quite pleasant outing of the trio...

Abbado's last recording remains a monumental and super-committed performance of Bruckner's Unfinished. Has to be heard in high definition...

Early Tangerine Dream space music. Remastered (2011) and expanded release by Esoteric who have done a really good job with this one including the Klangwald pieces played at Koln in 1972 previously available only as Tangerine Tree 52.

Summer Mixtape by Germany Germany

Enjoyable "summery" electronic, indie pop sounds, all proceeds go to help bring clean drinking water to rural communities in Uganda, the album can be checked out here.

This is a very interesting and enjoyable improvisation, downloaded from Bandcamp in 24/44.1

"Touch-guitar virtuoso Markus Reuter, a member of Tony Levin's Stick Men and the Crimson ProjeKct, shows his effortless mastery of Tripp-Style soundscapes in this consistently blissful 48-minute improvisation."

My all-time favorite opera, in last year's excellent studio recording with just about the best possible cast that can be assembled nowadays.

Cheers

Lovely haunting downtempo trip-hop music to finish off the night's listening.
