10,000 Days by Tool
Sadly Tool's last album but its a very good one in the progressive hard rock vein that they do so well.
Last one until the new one comes out hopefully early '17.

Tool fans. While waiting for the new album, Maynard J Keenan's other band, Puscifer, released an album late 2015, Money Shot. Excellent stuff. There's also his other band, A Perfect Circle to check out.

ISIS - In The Absence of Truth. In the same ballpark as Tool, roughly. Good band.

My fave Iron Maiden album

Because . . . . why not?
Muddy Waters-Folk Singer
A superb confluence of Muddy at the peak of his powers and a superb recording.
Faith No More-The Real Thing

Enjoyable and contemplative...

Tidal.

A bit of Mindy for the post lunch slump (before hitting the computer again...)

Today's arrival - enjoying some outdoor listening in the sunshine from the Muso with the patio doors wide open. Lovely album. ![]()

Seems to suit the sunny weather. CD rip.

1996 - CD - WAV...

Their beautiful eponymous debut album which shone so brightly for a short while.

Slipping (almost) seamlessly into IAGDV for its annual outing.

Why? I saw a mention of Joe Cocker earlier on and it reminded me to dig this out.

And a wonderful Globe Propaganda (George Hunter of The Charlatans) cover, as was Happy trails and Shady Grove. Shame there were so few!

Because this is an excellent take on late 60s/early 70s psychedelia and follows on very nicely to what I've been listening to.

Sarah Blasko - "Eternal Return" (2015)
