2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;

Ending this evening where I began..................more Jock rock from a hugely underrated singer.
Scotland's answer to Paul Rogers..................if not better, IMHO.
Wav Inspired by an earlier post.

Just Finished:
Lydia Loveless - Real
Now Playing:
The Handsome Family - Wilderness

Fleetwood Mac, Rumours, must be one of the moodiest albums ever and captures a lots of what they were living through at the time. Classic album, 24 bit Flac via Audirvana/Hugo
Last album of the night and one I have not listened to for a long time with The Eagles and Hotel California, Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

The album was ranked No. 4 on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". "Like a Rolling Stone" was a top-10 hit in several countries, and was listed at No. 1 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list.
He has said he only had one influence which was Hank Williams from Mount Olive, Butler County, Alabama, U.S.

Joe Walsh. But Seriously Folks. On original vinyl from 1978. I've been pre-occupied with the Olympics the past two weeks. Now getting back into music mode with this classic.

Ten Years After. A Space In Time. On original vinyl from 1971. Brilliant album, 'nuf said.

Foghat. Fool For The City (1975). On MFSL vinyl from 2008. Finishing my late Saturday night listening with this classic and yes, the MFSL is an improvement over the original vinyl - wider soundstage and better percussion impact. Great album either way.
Santana IV at the moment.

Fantastic concert which I hoped would never end.
Truly emotional and I was in tears at the end with the thought this maybe the last time we ever see Gordie on stage. The courage he showed throughout the whole tour was amazing.
Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam even mentioned Gordie fight with uncurable Brain Cancer and The Hips final gig during their concert in Chicago last night.
Even the Canadian Prime Minister was there wearing a Hip t shirt and boogieing along with the rest of the audience.
