Still have the drumstick Ian gave me for the success of Hit Me etc. somewhere in the house.

Mazzy Star

Bubble
Todays listening so far.
Lee Morgan blowing up a storm on this beautiful Bank Holiday evening..

A Music Matters 33rpm Blue Note reissue.
Pete Townshend - All the best cowboys have Chinese eyes
A record I bought at university and have barely played since about 86. Sounding bloody fantastic, so fresh, good tunes and plenty of energy. Quite wordy, I can see why it appealed to a 21 year old.

Impressive!

Having been listening to the intensity of Steve Wilson's music earlier today I thought I'd go for a complete chill-out next. This man was cool, alright.
Nice but also needs concentration...

Ozzy
Great album
A2+|Transcoded DSD

(1971)

Very similar sound and production to the above Springsteen album, I've always enjoyed it.
Bruce contributes three songs , plus some vocals too..............have a listen.

If you can't sense all Jagger's ticks & inflections on 'Tumbling Dice' then your system isn't optimised - First press CD. Never liked any of the remasters in the long term...even allowing for the tape drop-out.

One from the oddities box, here's Ginger, together with Charlie Haden and Bill Frissell.
More jazzy than I would normally choose, but still, proof that, for Mr Baker, there's life after Rock. ![]()
Somewhat crackly vinyl

Why? Phil Collins doing what he does best and with his mouth shut.
