2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;
Thanks james n. Will do.

Weezer. Green Album. On CD from 2001. I played the hell out of Weezer's debut album back in the day and still enjoy it. I've finally gotten 'round to picking up a second album from them and this, their third, is largely considered next best to their debut. I like it.
A+ | Tidal

(2009)
Some nice early music by Francesco Canona (Il Divino), the personal lutenist and composer in Rome to Cardinal Ippolito de Medici and to Popes Leo X (1513-1521), Clement VII (1523-34), and Paul III (1534-1549).

Tidal. Easy start to a busy Saturday transporting daughter and her vast amounts of "stuff" back to uni.

Suzanne Vega. Beauty & Crime. On CD from 2007. I've long had SV's first two albums and recently added this and "99.9 F". There is an innocent, seductive nature to her vocals, yet beyond that lies an undeniable creativity and artistry to be appreciated. She's quickly become one of my favorite female artists.
The Bonus Material CD from my copy of Some Girls.
Why? In this never ending working week I need more than espresso to rev me up. And it's never too early to hear Do you think I really care?

A bit of a quiet start into the Saturday...

Quite busy for a quiet Saturday morning...

The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
Starting Saturday off with this classic on Vinyl

Some old Aussie hits on this one its been a while since I've spun it!

Van Morrison - It's Too Late To Stop Now
Recent reissue of this Van Morrison album on Vinyl. Enjoying this a lot, never heard this before even though I have a few other Van Morrison albums which I also enjoy.
Switched to something calm, appreciate it more after a couple of runs...

Two from last night.. Why because they are both brilliant.

Both on original 70s vinyl.![]()

Raider,
One of the best live albums ever made imo. Van and the Caledonia Soul Orchestra showcased at very very best.

A truly superb live album. Essential for all Van lovers. Or even those who've never quite got the miserable old scroat.

Feel-good light rawk to start the weekend.

A random pick from the CD shelves: debut album by talented Scottish harpist:

Coincidentally I was sorting out the metadata for this double album this morning and stuck them into the playlist for later.

Hi Al
This is the recent reissue of the original release. As with all things I believe now there is a deluxe version that has extra tracks not on the original. I believe this is correct.

Staying with the Live albums
