On his third date for Blue Note within a year, Wayne Shorter changed the bands that played on both Night Dreamer and Juju and came up with not only another winner, but also managed to give critics and jazz fans a different look at him as a saxophonist as well as  a composer.Released fifty years ago.

John Mellencamp. Trouble No More. On CD from 2003. I posted this one recently as a first listen. It's struck quite a chord with me and has been getting lots of listens in my room. Highly recommended whether a big Mellencamp fan or a newcomer. Despite being an all covers album, provides a nice insight into the essence of Mellencamp's artistry.

Third time in thirteen hours. Soemone said it would be like this.

The only thing that's dicking me off is the ampersand.

the Best of James Taylor - streaming. Not one of my favourite artists but this album became feel good  music while I worked in Rio. Brings back some great memories!

Had also a short dip into this one. A totally ignored artist for me, and most probably something I should revise....
