2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;
The Batman's Call would be a good place to start.

CW does a brilliant version of Van Morrison's "Tupelo Honey" & the Ann Peebles classic "I Can't Stand The Rain" on this excellent sounding 1993 CD.

Just playing the Coriolan and Egmont Overtures from this great set from 2001 (apparently it's disc two, although it's hard to tell from the iPad).

Having seen this posted earlier in the week I promised myself a play at the weekend as it's been ages since I last listened to it. In fact I've now realised I've not played this since I upgraded my amp to 552/300. Bloomin' heck! I've always loved the song There Goes The Neighbourhood. The way the bass guitar kicks after a while gives the whole song some real drive and I always loved to play that loud. Now, gosh, that bass line has a depth and articulation I've never heard before. Goosebumps. Bl**dy marvellous! ![]()

Just surfing the iPad for something to play next and came across this, which I haven't played in MANY years.

Its a Texas night in the old ranch

Playing the '96 remaster of the 1971 original for no particular reason at all.
For no good reason at all is a good reason ![]()
