Calling it psychedelic krautrock doesn't really cover it but does give an idea of this good album and their style. Same nationality and record label as Goat, they will be at the Liverpool Psych fest on the 23rd.
New album out next month S, heard acouple of tracksalready and it sounds like it's gonna be a goodie!
Yep noticed that Kev thanks, got it on pre-order at Bandcamp, looking forward to it and to Goat's new one Requiem also out next month.
It seems incredible that this was released 31 years ago. Where has the time gone?

Official live recordings of a 3 night stand courtesy of Rickie Lee Jones. Never been released.

Ultravox on CD before the Midge Ure days

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - "Skeleton Tree" (2016) first listen, pretty new to NC and his music
It's certainly not the easiest place to start. Try The Boatman's Call, or Let Love In for the slightly noisier stuff. Then go from there.

Ultravox - Ha Ha Ha on CD. Totally different band from the Midge Ure days. Both incarnations of the band are good. Early stuff very much of the Punk times and great for it.

Wilco - "Schmilco" (2016) first isten

Thanks for the comments, I will check the other albums also. And I will revisit ST several more times at least. All as time allows, so much to listen to. Thats a good thing. Jeff A
Metronomy - Nights out
I tend to overlook this because of English Riviera which I bought first.
My SBLs reacting as fast and as twitchily as a badly trimmed Laser in an offshore three to four.

The Head and the Heart - "Signs Of Light" (2016)
Rumours, because the nasty noisy storm has finally moved away and I can listen to music again, and this is a classic album. Original vinyl

Magnificent Ms Bush. First press CD rip.
Stay away from the remaster - It will have you running for the hills!

Interesting point. I have both the original release on CD as well as the EMI 100th anniversary edition. When I ripped my CD collection to the NS01, I only ripped the latter version. I don't think I've played it since ripping - maybe that's why. I recall when I got the newer (remastered?) version and played it on my CD player it didn't seem to cook as well as I'd remembered.
The Who 'Quadrophenia' on vinyl at home and on CD in the car today. Simply because it's one of the finest rock albums ever made.

Last album of the night and some mid 80s Rush and a wonderful album cover by the excellent Hugh Syme - original vinyl

Joe Jackson. Look Sharp! On original vinyl from 1979. I've had this for 30 years on the original 1986 CD blindly loving it. This year I stumbled upon the LP to find out how much nicer it sounds. Either format, it is a stellar debut album.
Great album that has stood the test of time incredibly well. I hear good things about the new Intervention Records reissues of JJ's first three albums. Anyone on the forum got a copy?

Terrific album - each of the first three tracks is worth twice the price of any LP. I guess it's available on download now but I remember it was deleted from the record company's catalogue back in the days of CDs quite soon after release.
