A very peaceful and moving album to end the evening.

Rush - Moving Pictures On Vinyl
How ever you define Rush's rock style; progressive, hard, classic or heavy, this is a consummate rock album. Side 1 with Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, YYZ, and Limelight ranks high among my ultimate albums sides. The SQ on the original vinyl is outstanding. I'm off to go spin it now with the same enthusiasm I had for it as a teen.
Another go at it during my workout...

Great breakfast treat...

Another beautiful morning here and this lovely lady's voice and lyrics are going just fine with it.

First day of holidays.

Some ambient longform dronescape to act as a relaxing background filler while I get on with some tasks.

Taken By Trees - "East Of Eden" (2009)
Enjoying this one through wired Ethernet to the SU at long last, having spent a few hours running 30m of cat6 cable through 3 walls. Just a few hours of plugging holes and hiding cable in an acceptable form to do
. CD rip.

Matthew Perryman Jones - "Swallow The Sea" (2008)

(1975)
I never was a huge fan of NY back in the day I had too much other music going on but this is pretty good stuff forty years on.
On CD:-

Thanks Stevee_S. Ambient Sleeping Pill iradio is still down, and I'd forgotten about Cousin Silas. Time to send him a few quid via Bandcamp, I think. Some of the other ambient radio channels are simply awful, especially the U.S ones, not at all tranquil or restful.
I'll get off to sleep peacefully tonight.

Listening to the music...all the time.

I hope it does the trick for you. His solo work and also when working with Kevin Lyons are worth looking out for. From your comment, you know your way around Bandcamp however here is a link to his recording label (weareallghosts) and their discography where his and some other like minded ambient electronic artists are gathered.
