Queen, A Day at the Races, I'm slowly working my way through all of the Queen albums and its is surprising how much good stuff you forget over the years.  This album rocks from the first song and contains a load of hits.  Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

Eagles. Desperado. On original vinyl from 1973. The band's second album and last to include the original line-up. Good country rock music.

Eagles. On The Border. On original vinyl from 1974. The band's third album and first with Don Felder in the line-up. A strong move from their softer country side into the mainstream rock sound most associated with the Eagles. Excellent album.

Counting Crows. Recovering The Satellites. On CD from 1996. This album has its moments. "A Long December" is an excellent track, but overall a rambling album lacking direction. I suppose it's been all downhill from the band after high expectations set by their superlative debut album.

(6th May)

Starting of a morning again with Jay Tausig whose instrumental, psychedelic space rock is very upbeat.

Sheryl Crow. Wildflower. On CD from 2005. The half-dozen Crow CDs on our shelf were all bought by my wife and I love to indulge as I find Sheryl a tremendously gifted singer and songwriter. I enjoy her rockier side and while good this particular album plays a bit demure for my tastes.

Still love this album how ever many times i play it.

Swirling soundscapes, subterranean bass and gorgeous vocals by the lovely Hannah Reid.

(1992)

From a good sounding original release '92 Opal Records CD. Some lovely guitar work on here from Robert Fripp, the album sounds as fresh as it did nearly twenty five years ago.

I've just joined the ethernet cable debate with two new cables this afternoon, so, ..................."Am I wrong?" , one of my top test tracks now blasting out.

The superb Laura Marling (or another dreary female singer as my other half would say...)

I'll go with someone else's description of them and this album; bizarre, hardcore, techno progressive rock. Really very good when you are in the right frame of mind for it. I am.

Another noisy, classic album.

Great band. I only have Keep On Your Mean Side on CD and haven't listened to it for a while. They sound absolutely mental and I'm sure they are even better live. Enjoy the concert.

Tony, I can't see from your profile whether or not you are likely to have access to Tidal, but all their albums are available there.

Can definitely recommend this one, "Blood Pressures".................................mental indeed!
