2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;
CD rip. Very classy & quite distinctive quintet sound.

Another one I've not heard for a while. Came up on Asset's Albums Jukebox playlist and I'm really glad it did. Great fun!
Because sometimes you have to go loud! Classic album from a great live band.

Trying the Krystal with something a bit different!

On vinyl...superb!!

The Doors. Eponymous debut (1967). In stereo on Elektra butterfly label vinyl from 1970. Brilliant, creative and compelling; evocative, dark and haunting.

Paul Simon. Still Crazy After All These Years. On original vinyl from 1975. Typical rhymin' Simon - funky with excellent SQ, witty, wistful yet upbeat.

50 ways to leave your lover is such an earworm – I only need to see the cover of this album and it starts playing in my head.

The Beatles. A Hard Day's Night (1964). On vinyl from the 1982 MFSL collection. Among the better LPs from this collection for pure SQ, though these tracks are highly vibrant and play great in any format I've heard.

Molly Hatchet. Flirtin' With Disaster. On vinyl from 1979. Tight and fast southern rock with a strong musical drive. Great listening a late Friday night.

Easing into the weekend. Coffee on & sausages sizzling in the pan to the gentle sounds of Mr Sylvian.
