During my workout..

Original 1973 Mix On CD
Jason Carter - The Helsinki Project. A real fusion of styles here and a nice find from Naim Records.
Dan Arborise - Of Time & Trail
As you can tell, I love this album. Now with coffee before late-ish start at work.

James if I like this, what else would I like? (John Martyn is a given, as is Ryley Walker).

Hi Chris - Along similar lines and very enjoyable, try Sam Brookes (Sam Brookes), King Creosote (Astronaut Meets Appleman) and Scott Matthews (Passing Stranger)
James
Thanks James, I will look for these.
Best, C.
I'll be interested in what you think. The Scott Matthews album is a great late night 'last play' as the album shifts gear around track 11 onwards into a mellow, dreamy ending.
"On The Beach", Chris Rea, on original CD, ripped. (Sorry, on iPad, can't do artwork). I think this is Chris's masterpiece, and just wonderful if you happen to be lying on a warm beach, the gentle tumbling of waves in the background, after a leisurely lunch with one or two glasses of good sturdy local wine in you.

(2014 remix)
Downloaded last night, Yuri Gagarin's self titled atmospheric spacey psychedelic rock. Thanks to Gary Shaw for the heads up on this very enjoyable bandcamp find.
Not played this in a while after very heavy rotation when i first bought it. Jon Hopkins field recordings, samples and soundscapes combined with Kenny Anderson's vocals make this an unusual, yet quite wonderful listen.
This 1974 Mono release of their 1964 album. Would be very interested how it stands up to the 2016 Mono Box release ![]()

More mid seventies era Hawkwindesque space rock, a download in 24/48.
Gorgeous album -

C Duncan's new Midnight Sun album sounds fabulous.

Dorothee Mields, voice, instruments by husband and wife: Lee Santana (lute), Hille Perl (viola da gamba).
