Progressive sounding metal that's heavy in parts, Dream Theater style percussion, story telling melodic vocals with good SQ suiting its release in 24/96 FLAC. Thank for the steer Bert its metal but a little bit different isn't it?
It's indeed a bit different, but a great album, enjoy.

(2016) CD
Bought this a few months ago, but first listen. First two tracks suggest I will like this one.
This is one of my favourite albums of the year.

My favourite bit of Bert, on CD:

Fink - "Hard Believer" (2014)
On vinyl, this:

Which is from this, which I have finally got round to (start) listening to:

Nikki Lane - All Or Nothin'

(2014) CD
Continuing through the new/lightly listened pile. This felt like a good album to follow up Margo Price. I like this one more with each listen.

I can see why. At the end I was wishing for another song. It will be moving to the car for the work week.

John Hiatt - "Dirty Jeans And Mudslide Hymns" (2013)

This is growing on me, on vinyl...

Final one of the day, ..............Lee Perry producing, The Upsetters playing, and Max on vocals...................a classic. ![]()

Another great album from yello, on vinyl...

More Bowie on vinyl, also from the Who Can i Be Now? boxset. I love the Dame.

2016 - Tidal...
Good album but I cannot get Goldfrapp's 2003 Black Cherry out of my head. ![]()

Jonatha Brooke - "My Mother Has 4 Noses" (2014)

1994 - CD - WAV..
Tidal and Spotify have extra material and extended play of a few tracks and although I have the vinyl, I always preferred the original recording on CD, probably due to the nature of the music. I guess it is all psychological.![]()
Listening to Palace v WHU on Radio 5 Live. Thus far, I am enjoying it immensely! Thus far... ![]()

LP - "Forever For Now" (2014)
Something mellow whilst we cook. I'm not a great fan of Adele but i do like her first album.
'19' it is then...

Great sounding album. Particularly like the track 'hazey'.

2004 - Tidal...
A little less industrial stuff since he left the band....NIN, that is!

Death Cab For Cutie - "Kintsugi" (2015)

Streaming Tidal 16/44.1
