Not played this for quite a while but it was the first Tori album I bought. A rather eclectic mix of songs on here and she must have been in one of her 'deep' moods when she made it. Enjoyable though and the reproduction quality is excellent.

About to be re issued as a 2 CD edition in keeping with the first two album re issues http://www.superdeluxeedition....for-pele-2cd-deluxe/

The B-52's

Totally bonkers and great for it. Love this album.

For me a bit of a mixed bag on my first listen. The 1st song is great, but too much poppy stuff in my eyes...

Phew!

Time to calm things down considerably with some dub / reggae from Horace Andy, chill master, and sometime Massive Attack stalwart.

Chillin' with what's left of Sunday evening.

This was my first Neko Case album bought just after it's release 16 years ago and its still my favourite album of hers

Good end of a musical day. While this principally isn't my type of music, I totally dig all his albums...

Posted on: 16 October 2016 by dave marshall

This'll be up next after the Horace Andy.

I do keep plugging this, but anyone who "liked" the Horace one ought to love this.

A great way to end a chillin' session.

Nighty night.

What do you think of it Raider?

Played it once through very much like all their other stuff so it's alright by me. Try on the streaming sites, does seem a bit of a victim of the loudness wars to my ears. Give a better review when I have lived with it for a few weeks.

If you like KOL then you should like this one. Solid album.

The Bohicas, The Making Of. Looking for something different on Tidal and found this, some good Indie Rock from an Essex band.

"Released in 2000, just before the trio recorded the three seminal albums for the ECM label with Stanko (as his sidemen), this album is definitely a turning point, which marks their arrival at the level of musical champions, paralleled only by very few other Jazz musicians in general and piano trios in particular. This was also their last album to be released on a Polish label, as they were about to be enlisted to the ECM roster as a trio in the days that followed." (AB)

That's too bad. She's usually great. I'll still be getting it, methinks.

This is pretty great. Turn down the lights, late in evening, with a glass of red and let it wash over you.
