Why?
This.................http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-34659811
Not fashionable to admit to liking Phil, but his "Facehugger" drum sound takes some beating.............see what I did there?
I must be unfashionable too, being a long-time fan of Mr C

Hi James,
I'm guessing you Tidalised these two before deciding to buy, so I'm glad you liked them.........I've been plugging the Sound Iration one for ever.
Best you get the leaves done first though, before a listen, as, the other way round, it'd be "Nah, the leaves can wait till tomorrow"
Leaves done so i'm allowed to play
- apart from listening to a few Horace Andy tracks on YouTube, i've bought blind (deaf ?) so i'm looking forward to trying something new. While i'm copying the albums across to the Melco, i thought i'd warm the system up with this...
UB40 - Signing Off
Ok, I get you. Just because I said TLLDOB was Genesis last good album you lot decided to counteract by playing PC. Below the belt, really! ![]()

Ah, I'm glad you found it and are enjoying it. I played the first disc last night and was most impressed. John Taylor was such a wonderful pianist.
I'm very much enjoying this, another recent Forum recommendation, bought cheaply on cd.
HH have you had any problems playing discs 2 - 4 of the John Taylor ? All the tracks seem to be corrupted just playing noise. Disc 1 plays perfectly. I've manually re-downloaded a single track from disc 2 and get the same issue. I'm using ALAC format.

Update - WAV & FLAC work fine - its ALAC that's the issue for some reason
Haunting

A nice pointer towards the other two.
I've gradually discovered some of their less well known albums................worth a listen...........IMHO.

UB40 - Homegrown. UB40 - Fathers of Reggae. UB40 - Cover Up.
Homme-Homme
not what I thought it would be. I was hoping it was Josh Homme but instead it's a chick with a cool voice and some cool guitar behind her. Something different and sounds nice.

Tidalising it right now.................now that is different...............great shout.
Time to join the unfashionable... on vinyl

Giving this a spin as my wife (who can't stand NCATBS) is out for a while... It's very good indeed. Dark. Dark. Dark But hey, what were you expecting?

This is also very good. New take on some great music. Underscores his significance in modern music.
Curtis Harding-Soul Power
digging this. May pick up this one.

Doing some revision before seeing them again on Tuesday ![]()
Benjamin Booker-Benjamin Booker
anotger nice one. Finding some some cool new tunes today.

Phil Thornton & Hossam Ramzy - Immortal Egypt.
Late afternoon wind down with this, a relaxing blend of keyboards, flute and percussion.............nice.
A+ | Transcoded DSD

Aenima - Tool
(1996)

A very distinctive artist whom I enjoy very much, with and without 'New Bohemians'. This has some nice, close-miked, production.
'Buffalo Ghost' is a gem.
