2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

Any good Graham and do you have his new album?

"John Taylor is the pianist of weightlessness. Although overly simple, this aphoristic description of the English virtuoso's dense yet liberated musical discourse renders justice not only to its inherent quality, but to the effect it imparts to listeners. Suspended above an evanescent pulse, swift, jolted rhythms loose their grip; upwardly clouting modulating, mellifluous aural jaunts of texturally multifarious phrases and voicing."
Sound track is not part of the album:

I really like it Andy . 3 records so plenty to listen to and very good production. No I don't have the new one

(15th April)
Just queuing this one up, it'll be its first outing since originally downloading it and finding it rather disappointing.
Just 1st run, but really great album. Atmospheric jazz...

I have the day off, I'm cleaning house, I'm playing Eye in the sky (loud) on my AR14s while vacuum cleaning, I feel like I'm 30 again and hate my job! I'm happy, so I thought of sharing this with you all.
As I wrote to Chris a few minutes ago, there's life on Earth somewhere, sometimes.
Enjoy!

Nice additional album for people who subscribed to his music, in high Res with an open trio sound...

That would be +- £20.70 in today's dosh, so no need for a mortgage
.
Thanks, Tony. I was going to search out an RPI calculator, but you've saved me the trouble. I guess it proves that in real terms at least LP prices today are no greater than they were in the late '70s.
Conversely, of course, CDs are an absolute steal at today's prices. Buy them while you still can!
