2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

Samm Henshaw-The Sound Experiment

On vinyl.

Terrible title and R.Twerk for a fabulous album (double CD).
This is quite different to the previous prog-rock type (but also good) albums from the band lead by Mariusz Duda (see also Lunatic Soul).
'Eye' is in a more ambient atmospheric vein, referencing early rhythmic Krautrock in places. Apparently a collection of music left over from sessions which didn't musically 'fit' on previous albums.
It is by no means a collection of leftovers, but a musically consistent delight with a unique signature sound. Thematically dark, it is not bright sunny day material and well timed for the return to GMT, or as we say in Norfolk - 'when that get late, early'.

Steve Hackett - Genesis Revisited II, streaming CD rip.
The Coral ..Distance Inbetween
Todd Rundgren - Something/Anything?
I haven't played this for a while, can't understand why. Excellent album.

Tangerine Dream imitators Perge say this about their latest release (which is very enjoyable).
"This album presents [75 minutes of] sections from two recently restored soundboard recordings from the 80s. Originally available only via low quality unofficial bootlegs 'The Undulated Soundtrack For Phantasy' and 'Space & Sfears', we're now able to present these recordings as originally intended. We hope you enjoy this trip back to a time where analog synthesisers were having to compete with their newer digital rivals for the first time".

You appear to be in a deep jazz groove at the moment, Ewemon. This is great to see.

Great album, produced by my school friend Andy Weatherall.
