Playing the second CD of this double album, the first three tracks live from the Prince of Wales Theatre (London) in 1963. John's classic gag "will the people in the cheaper seats please clap your hands, the rest of you just rattle your jewellery".

Ryan Adams - Cardinology. CD rip. Not his best, but pretty damn good.

all on vinyl

Great morning so far
Well, I enjoyed the previous one - so some more from Mr Adams. Heartbreaker - his solo debut I think from 2000. Features Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings.

Great idea, well played!

Excellent reissue. Good bass, beautiful mid range, excellent separation and sound stage, vocal mix tremendous , clean & flat. This reissue sounds nearly as good as my 1973 SHVL 804 1st / 2nd press which I bought from new, but without the snap crackle and pop of the original.

On to side 2 now, which I prefer. I like the extended pieces.

A nice one to get lost in music...(caught in a trap...)

A new discovery. For me, Kat Edmonson, Way Down Low. Nice laid back vocal jazz.

Pure bliss for a wet Sunday - the North Star Grassman and the Ravens (live) and Like and Old Fashioned Waltz (live) just bring out the goosebumps

1969 - Original vinyl...
All Them Witches-Lighning at the Door
Discovered this band thanks to this forum. Has turned into one of my favorites. Can't get enough of them.
Jez Lowe - Bad Penny.
Original 1988 vinyl - not played this for probably 20 years
... don't know why not; vinyl is pristine and music is gentle, humourous, sad and well-produced.
Great to find this again ![]()
Dougie MacLean - Real Estate.
Another original 1988 Vinyl that I haven't listened to in years and years.
Great production and lovely songs, maybe a little sentimental but we all need that now and again.
... and I thought there was no music in the 80's ![]()
Alice In Chains-Unplugged
great performance but very sad listening to it
On vinyl:-

Hawkwind - Levitation
Can't find it on youtube for a link, but the track C.H.E.M.I.C.A.L by the Chemical Brothers on Tidal
will bring down the roof of the house. Awesome. *sorry neighbour*
Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band - The History of the Bonzos.
1970 vinyl - still pristine.
... what a great way to end a Sunday afternoon ...
huge grin

Having a relaxing afternoon with some recent purchases that i've not had the chance to listen to properly yet. After seeing this get quite a few postings on here. I'm sure this part of the forum is the most costly
James Taylor - Hourglass
