What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XII)

2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;

CD 13. Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 5, Piano Concerto No. 6 and Concerto No. 10 for two pianos.

Released in 2004. More than a solo recording, the whole album works as a fascinating conversation between himself, American/Armenian violist Kim Kashkashian and frequent collaborator French/Ivorian drummer Manu Katché.

This one has been getting a lot of play since downloading it a few weeks ago which in turn has prompted me to buy and play more from Moon Duo and Wooden Shjips...

I've been listening to Leonard Cohen for nearly 40 years now .. a fabulous entertainer and poet .. this isn't his best album but tonight it's just right.

My early doubts that it wouldn't arrive today as scheduled have been alleviated, the postman's van had broken down and was replaced by a grey Thrifty rental, four hours late but now ripped and going about to get played...

I've always had quite a varied taste in music and love jumping around my LPs - usually to the frustration of my wife!
But I'm home alone this afternoon, so I'm making the most of it today.
It's either Bob Marley or the Clash next ! !
UK first press vinyl:

Bo Diddley - The Singles Collection.
Following the Chuck Berry earlier, it seems only fair to continue with................this.
