More from that big Floyd Box. This time it's Disc 2 of the first set, Cambridge Sta/tion. This contains a full Syd-era gig in Sweden, plus the (rejected) music they made for artist John Latham's film Speak. Wonderful stuff, though the Latham pieces may be a bit outré for all but the most fanatical Floydians. Again, SQ is excellent.

Live in Stockholm 1967:

   "Introduction" (Live, Stockholm, 1967) - 0:25

   "Reaction in G" (Live, Stockholm, 1967) - 7:18

   "Matilda Mother" (Live, Stockholm, 1967) - 5:34

   "Pow R. Toc H." (Live, Stockholm, 1967) - 11:56

"Scream Thy Last Scream" (Live, Stockholm, 1967) - 4:00

"Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" (Live, Stockholm, 1967) - 7:17

"See Emily Play" (Live, Stockholm, 1967) - 3:16

   "Interstellar Overdrive" (Live, Stockholm, 1967) - 8:57

John Latham studio recordings 1967

   "John Latham Version 1" - 4:32

   "John Latham Version 2" - 5:06

   "John Latham Version 3" - 3:45

   "John Latham Version 4" - 2:59

   "John Latham Version 5" - 2:48

   "John Latham Version 6" - 3:17

   "John Latham Version 7" - 2:36

   "John Latham Version 8" - 2:49

   "John Latham Version 9" - 2:38

Tracks 1-8 recorded live 10 September 1967 at Gyllene Cirkeln, Stockholm, Sweden.

Tracks 9-17 recorded at De Lane Lea Studios, London, 20 October 1967.

Yellow Magic Orchestra - LondonYMO

Live album from their appearance at Massive Attack's Southbank Meltdown in 2008. They were terrific and the band included Christian Fennesz. The only downside was that the sound engineers kept creeping the volume up, which the music didn't warrant. Still, the CD doesn't reflect that and it makes a great souvenir of a one-off evening.

Mainly because I saw her in concert last night, and just wanted to hear more of her work.

A fine sounding boot' from this part of their US tour over forty years ago, it runs to well over three hours so I'm picking it up from Kashmir and the last two hours.
