Funny forgot the post button. So now afterwards - the concertos are a bit more challenging to appreciate, but I also couldn't turn off.

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti.
On Japanese SHM..............why? ................'cos, as I keep saying, they sound betterer, IMHO.
Now switching to jazz....

An absolute recommendation, a very good dialogue between sax and bass, tastefully supported by the drums. Give it a try...

On Cd A fine compilation

North Mississippi Allstars - World Boogie Is Coming.
Down home Hill Country blues from the boys..........................great stuff.
1st run for me, typical ECM...

On Vinyl

North Mississippi Allstars - Hill Country Revue.
Great live album from the Dickinsons and the Burnsides, keeping Hill Country blues alive.

Various Artists - Legends of Country Blues.
Last one of the evening, with the best of Country Blues.
James, Laid on CD. Produced by Brian Eno (bar 1 track) For me this album has an organic sound that seems to fit perfectly with the songs. If you fancy some alternative British Rock give it a go.

Keith Jarrett - Eyes of The Heart
Never mind Jarrett and Redman, as I approach the end of side 2 let's hear it for the rhythm section, Haden and Motian.
C.
Redd Volkaert, Telewacker. Tracks: Tube'n, It's a minor thing & she loves anything that swings.
One of those artists that fit the description of 'World best guitarist that most people have never heard of' . Staggering player and an exemplary recording too.

Hopefully, artwork!
The Lumineers-Cleopatra

Melvins. Stoner Witch. On CD from 1994. Unfamiliar with the Melvins' music, I picked this up a few days ago simply out of curiosity to hear the group that strongly influenced and hailed from the same area of coastal Washington as Kurt Cobain. Cobain reportedly failed an audition on bass with the Melvins. Mostly heavy driving and dark sludge rock, it's gotten better to my ears over several listens. I find the music more akin to Metallica and Rob Zombie (in my limited experience with those) than to Nirvana.

Do you like this recording? Think there are much better recordings avaliable.

PJ Harvey. Rid Of Me. On CD from 1993. There was a time when I found most of PJ's music (like many of her album covers) dark and morose, yet distantly intriguing. Having collected several of her albums, I still find the majority of her music dark and morose. Just that I've come to appreciate the creativity, artistry, and raw energy in what she's doing. The intrigue increases.
