One of my favourite Hybrid albums although it differs from their previous albums to a degree, being slightly more commercial perhaps? Very good rocking ambient electro that stems from their dance & trance beginnings, strong, catchy vocals help it all along.
Listening to the great violin sonatas of Beethoven by Isabelle van Keulen en Hannes Minnaar - today in the daily deal of eclassical....

More Hybrid, this one earlier, a different lead vocalist and darker undertones. Classic Hybrid beats and breaks, layered and cinematic.
Eric Clapton
I Still Do

Garry Moore
The Best Of The Blues

Ninety Miles one of the collaborations of Christian Scott, very rhythmic music which is always nice to hear...

Because I'm not in the mood to watch the (excellent) movie again, so listening to the soundtrack will be just fine.
The Commitments - Soundtrack.
Talking of movie soundtracks, this .......................... and the film's not half bad either.
On CD:-
David Crosby - Lighthouse

Absolutely! Good film and soundtrack.
Ry Cooder - Paris, Texas - Soundtrack. Various artists - Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
Atmospheric slide guitar from the master. I can't stand Country & Western, but this is brilliant!!
Just chucking in another couple of soundtracks, a genre of music often overlooked.
The "Oh Brother" one, additionally, is very well recorded, with that "in the room" sound.
Oh, and the films are worth a watch too!
Charles Lloyd Quartet - Mirror. CD rip.
Yesterdays posts re the 5 album box set on Qobuz got me delving into his albums that I already have.
I've not played this for a while. It's a very fine album.
1979 - Original (warped!) vinyl...
I love this album but it is heavily warped. I took a quick look at some of the "cures" suggested by some members going back 12 or 14 years ago. Some sensible, others got me really worried. Oven?? Really??
Not available for streaming on Tidal or Spotify so time to go shopping for a replacement.

Thank you, Steve. I saw them on discogs but I never bought anything from them because of the horror stories I hear. I suppose it would be the same with fleabay, just pure luck.

I've never had a problem there Tony but of course I only buy CDs these days, I would probably avoid Russian Federation sellers unless their star ratings and profiles were excellent. Happy hunting whichever route you choose .
Enjoying this one again blasting from Muso while cooking dinner.
OMD - The Singles.
Boy, didn't they have some GREAT tunes?

The film and this soundtrack are Desert Island stuff for me.
1970 - Original vinyl...
Mo- Final Song- because it makes me want to dance.
Alexis & Fido - Gata Michu Michu - because it riminds me of a dance club in Havana . ..
U2 - Achtung Baby.
I know, I know, ................. it's not big, and it's not clever, ....................... but, know what? ............... it's only rock 'n roll, but I like it!
