2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;
Chris Whitley - "Rocket House" (2001)

Impulsive buy after a quick visit to my local Naim dealer.
Kandace Springs - Soul Eyes. Listening to this on Tidal.
Tony - this is truely wonderful. Such a talented young lady with a rather mature and cultured voice combined with some lovely melodies.
Great shout.
The Rolling Stones - In Mono.
Playing this yet again .............. 'cos it's brilliant, and 'cos I can!
A+ | Tidal
(2011)
This usually gets played around this time of year. For some reason it just feels right.
AC / DC - The Razor's Edge.
Let's rock .......................... err, LOUD!

My first run through with this one, super album, lovely voice. Good find Tony thanks for the heads up.
On CD:-
George Michael - Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1
On vinyl. So much better than on Tidal
Only on Tidal. Don't have a vinyl copy but may well look for one.
Joan Armatrading - "This Charming Life" (2010)

Didn't know there was a 'super deluxe' version of this, ewemon. What's it got, extra material, better reproduction quality?

Haven't played any Floyd for a while. This is the 'Discovery' CD version.
LoneLady - Hinterland
For the reasons given a few nights ago.

Joe Bonamassa - An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House.
Oh well, nobody seems to fancy a loud rock evening, so, .................. this ................. Joe does acoustic versions of many of his better known songs.
Funnily enough, it sounds quite seasonal for this time of the year.
Still quite LOUD though!

Oh great - now you've got me spending my money again!! Stop recommending such good music!
Lucinda Williams - "Car Wheels On A Gravel Road" (1998)
Some great Amy Winehouse recordings - some live - and the mastering standard in my humble opinion is way better than most of her main albums. Really enjoyable if you are an Amy fan... (it was a great film as well)
One of my favourite albums.
Scritti Politti - Cupid and Psyche 85
For sofa-dwelling, coffee drinking, looks sublime in a man's white cotton shirt, second year French student Katie H.

New vinyl...
Son Volt - "Straightaways" (1997)
Rush, 2112, because I feel like listening to Tears, 24 bit Flac via Audirvana/Hugo
Richmond Fontaine - "You Can't Go Back If There Is Nothing To Go Back To" (2016)
