US Columbia first pressing on vinyl. I didn't even know I had this but Mrs K was overcome with a wave of 1980s nostalgia (I think she fancied the singer back in the day) so we played it. It's not aged badly compared to a lot of '80s product, but it's not that interesting, barring one track. SQ is very good though.

Haunting album...

This was released 3 Years ago. I really hope they have it in them to follow this up to the same standard. That is if they are still together?

More 80s. UK first press vinyl. They started to lose me after this one, it's the last LP of theirs I like from beginning to end.

Listening to this. I will also download the live version of this one of the LiveJazzLounge. A great piece of music.....

I caught up with the recent UB40 BBC4 documentary last night. A shame to see what has happened but a good reminder of the music they made.

(Probably) The finest Jamaican rhythm masters. Still remember the width of the grooves of my 12" single of Boops (Here to go) back in the day

1968 - UK - Mono pressing...

After the brief detour to the noughties (Broadcast), it's back to the 1980s. Was this sprawling monster the best LP of the '80s? Maybe not, but it is certainly in the top five albums of that benighted decade.

Original UK (Blast First) vinyl:

Prompted by Toby Jug above, here's another 1980s classic (Isn't Anything by My Bloody Valentine) on UK first press vinyl, although sadly I seem to have lost the free 7" single
