It is a great album that I've only discovered this year. Track no 2 makes for a good system tester
It's a beautifully recorded album. Such a relaxing listen Adam

Glad you like it both.
Try some other albums by 'Wasilewski Trio' - available from ECM.
They've been recording their own music for close to 20 years. But they also act as the 'section' for Tomasz Stanko - either live or when the maestro is recording.
Thanks for the recommendation Adam
1998 - Tidal...
George Mraz and Emil Viklicky - Together Again. (2014) Tidal.
One of Haim's recommendations I think - been playing this quite a bit over the last few days.
"When it comes to combining jazz with European folk idioms, the Scandinavians haven't quite got the monopoly. George Mraz and Emil Viklický have been creating their beautiful blend of jazz and Moravian music for years, although this is their first purely duet album. In their hands the two idioms seem made for each other. The first of these 11 pieces could almost be a kind of blues. Mraz, long a US resident, is one of the most famous bassists in jazz, while pianist Viklický is one of the Czech Republic's top film composers. Technically, the playing is simply stupendous.". https://www.theguardian.com/mu...her-again-review-act

Yeap - a good album. Bought it as a high-res download following Haim's recommendation
Hmm, that looks good, and it's down to £11.50 on Qubuz at the moment, for the 24 bit version.

Not usually my cup of tea but a great voice and sad loss at just 33.
This two disc LP, and simply because I think Robert Palmer was a brilliant singer. Oh, and I got it for Xmas.
