Why? Saw the 'Alf' album as I perusing the LP boxes and that triggered the idea. 1980s electro, why not?

Why not indeed?
Soft Cell - Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret.
One of my favourite Rush albums (WAV 24-bit – 96.00 kHz).
Someone mentioned this album somewhere or orther in the forum. Thought I'd slap my green vinyl copy on. It's a work of real genius.
2014 - Vinyl - US Pressing...
Original vinyl
Why? Thought I would stick with the 1980s

Daniel Lanois - Acadie - Ripped CD
A gem
Top-quality doo-wop from 1959, in an early 1970s repressing.
Neville brothers - Brother's keeper on ripped CD

My favourite Joni album. So atmospheric. Must play it again soon.
Although I've had By The Time It Gets Dark for many, many years and it has always been one of may favourite Mary Black albums, it's been quite some time since I've played it because my CD suffered some CD rot causing skipping on the later tracks. Many a deep-disc clean attempted to cure the problem but failed. So for Xmas I got myself a replacement and am now able to enjoy again Leaving the Land, Trying To Get The Balance Right etc
Tord Gustavsen Trio - Changing Places
An old fave. First heard these guys on Late Junction on BBC R3.....Tues, Weds, Thurs at 11pm.

Two giants of 20th century music come together (with the backing of Oscar Peterson, Buddy Rich, Ray Brown and Herb Ellis): the result isn't fireworks, but rather a stately ramble throught the Great American Songbook. It's dignified, grand and very tasteful; perhaps that is how it should be. A nice mono vinyl reissue from (I think) the late 70s.
1st run sounds like a very good player....
Bob Dylan - Modern Times
I'm reading his autobiography. Great, direct writing.

Ella hooks up with the only man in jazz who call himself Armstrong's equal. The results - as might be expected with the ducal connection - are majestic. 1980s vinyl reissue.
Great album in remembrance of his daughter of six who was killed.....
