What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XII)

2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

You are just calling out his worst recording. I have a lot of good music of Brad Mehldau. He stays one of my favorite jazz musicians...
Good, Bert. We need some diversion of opinions, otherwise we will all die of boredom..
My second favorite Charlie Haden duo:
More Christmas purchases
Gregory Porter - Take Me To The Alley
A+ | Transcoded DSD
Another ripped CD from the excellent 6 CD boxset of the Ozric's early stuff, Vitamin Enhanced.
and now another piano - bass recording: Duke Ellington - Ray Brown - This One's For Blanton (ripped CD)
Korai Öröm - 2005
Today's brisk walk in the chilly fog. This lot are Hungarian and have been going since the mid-90s, and can only be described confusingly. They pilfer various Western idioms, mostly rock and dance, add in Eastern European elements with forays further East to India. They're in Prog Archives too, so they're sort of Prog (but not very).
Also confusingly their albums are called solely by their release year, and until the album 2010 only called their songs after the track number or whatever. So, the clip below is called 4 (for example).
What they are is excellent and mostly hard to get hold of, until now, as I've noticed they're all on Qobuz and pretty cheap.
So here is "4", starts of slowly into a Jaw's Harp and Didgeridoo funk before transforming into into a full on toast (presumably in Hungarian!)
And here's "2" for good measure ( a smidgen of rap followed by gorgeous vocals):
Listened to this earlier whilst we were de-christmasing the house.
A fine collection of his work, so it's getting another play now. RIP George.
