What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XII)

2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;
This....
Cat Stevens - Tea for the Tillerman
...then this....
Stevie Wonder - Innervisions
How I went from Cat Stevens to Stevie Wonder, I have no idea. Subliminal messages from Christopher M maybe!
I need a drink!

Listened to this earlier, haven't played it for a while - what a great album.
If you don't already have it Nick try their very recent live double album A Stone's Throw from the line. You can try and / or buy it on bandcamp here.

I've been listening to it via Tidal Steve - Cheers.
Just to echo sentiments already posted on here .................... have a great 2017 chaps, and thanks for all the great music.
The Strolling Bones - in mono.
The soundtrack here at chez Dave for Hogmanay ............ sad, I know, but I just can't stop playing this.

Cream - Fresh Cream
I am in a Stevie groove now, so this....
Stevie Wonder - Talking Book.
The man is a genius!
I am listening to this via a funky hi res download. It sounds wonderful but I used to own a vinyl copy of this and it had the Talking Book album cover on each side of the record. Even though I no longer own a turntable, I wish I still owned that record. Weird I know. Now where is that stiff scotch I just poured.
If you hadn't yet realised, I'm enjoying very much this Camel and Caravan period at the moment.

I personally prefer the original mix of the album Dave.

I too really enjoyed the Canterbury scene Clive. I saw Caravan at the Fairfield Halls in the early 70's (just a few stops on the train) so this could well be that gig. I'll see if I can find the album. Thanks!

I was beginning to think I was the only person who owned a copy of this album. I saw them at Reading Festival in the early 1970s.

No, Steve. You're not alone. I bought it when it came out and years later I came across this demo vinyl. I just found the "orchestration" a tad different from all the prog music at the time. It does sound a little dated now, but a couple of songs still send a chill down my spine. You know the one I'm talking about. Anyway, there's three of us now including Steve S.
Nappy New Year Guys!
