An extraordinary album that really is worth trying if you haven't already. It can be tried on Deezer Elite, so perhaps those with Tidal or Spotify can get it from those catalogues?

Beethoven, Moonlight followed by Fur Elise.  I rarely listen to classical music, most of it I just don't get, but after a pretty stressful and in depth interview this afternoon I find this soothes the soul.  Sublime sounds.  Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

Continuing with this one with the great ballad for e....

While the other ballad for e from Dan Berglund is even better...

On vinyl.

Borders Nick, can you give some info re: Lumin? Is the app stand alone or do you have to have their hardware player ?

Perhaps any answers should be in  Streaming thread?

Finishing a stressful day with, obviously, Rush and Presto.  One of those under rated Rush albums that grows on you and well worth a listen.  24 bit Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

On vinyl.  Because funk is its own reward.

Du Pre/Bishop: Beethoven Cello Sonatas No.3 & 5  1965 recording

This is an earlier recording by Jackie and much better performance over all than her later sets with Barenboim.

Now I see why she was such a sensation back then and this album legitimise all the hype surrounding her.

Du Pre’s playing is accessible full of life and passion. Refreshing and less stuffy. She exhibits a tremendous confidence at age 20 taking a few surprising bold moves throughout.

Even a slow movement her ability to render astonishing amount of depth and various emotional states is uncanny for her age. Bishop’s piano sounds rudimentary comparatively.

This album is a break with there earlier style and too raw in my opinion..

Instrumental post rock that's very enjoyable, multi textured cinematic like soundscapes.
