Stacking order

Greetings fellow audiophiles.  The current stacking order of my rack is:

In an attempt to distract myself from severe "Dry January" symptoms I've just bought myself a 300/300PS to replace the 250.  What is the considered opinion of the forum on the optimum stacking order for my new setup?  Obviously I've bought another shelf unit to accommodate the additional black box.

Once a system gets to this size, two stacks is by far the best way to go, so you can divide the brawn and brain. Is that an option?

For now, put the 300 between the 252 and the DAC, and put the 300PS where the 250 was.

I agree with HH about the best option being to split the racks, though that is not always practicable in some rooms.  Another factor to consider is that I'm reliably told that the nDAC radiates upwards so if it's not at the top of the rack you should try to maximise its distance from the 252. Mine is at the bottom of my 'brain' rack with my 282 at the top and a 300DR and CDX2.2 in between.

HH/MDS - thanks.  A second rack is not really an option in my 5m x 4m living room.  Out of interest, has anyone done any measurements, estimates or documented experiments of RF susceptibility and emissions with Naim kit?  If so, you could imagine an app that suggests the optimum stacking order.  Or possibly that makes the call on larger shelf spacing vs. two racks?  For example, it's not intuitive to me why the nDAC would radiate upwards rather than downwards, but if this is a documented phenomenon then the app could reflect that.

Asumming XPS is powering Ndac

2 Stack Fraim

4 Tier Left

3 Tier Right

If the OP was to purchase an base,

Would this be the proper configuration?

Just trying to pick the Forum for infomation, and check my Theory!

Consider treating 300 as "brain" and Supercap as "brawn", stacking order to facilitate cable dressing.
