Apple Airport Express for wifi extende?

anyone using an AE to extend wireless network for streaming with Qute 2? I can't run Ethernet where Qute is being used. Is AE the best option for me or are there better options for me?

DRPO

There is a now closed forum called Wireless Genius Required on this site which over two pages will give you  everything you need to know about AE.  Tremendous help from Hungry Halibut and many others

In fact I do have my second AE in bridge mode ("join a network" as opposed to "extend a network") but I was sloppy calling it a "repeater "above. Good idea to clarify.

All - I have an airport express from a previous property, which I was going to try and dispose of via online auction - BUT, having read posts on here about the issues with power line adaptors, I thought I would give it a try. So here is my setup:

BT HomeHub5 in Office

UQ etc in lounge

Currently, I have power line adaptors feeding internet (and therefore iRadio, TIDAL/Spotify etc) to the UQ

When I plug in the homebub - my iMac Airport utility finds it wirelessly, but says it is looking for "Base Stations" and then I get "Unexpected Error".  So I tried hardwiring it to homehub5 to set it up that way, and again when I select "Extend and existing Network" It looks for Base Stations and then errors out because it can't find one?  I've looked at the "Wireless Genius Required" post and still require enlightenment.  Am I trying to use this for something its not designed to do?

Mike, plug your airport express into your HH (using Ethernet, not Powerline adapters if you can) and set the airport express in bridge mode. Give it a new SSID and password and you should be fine. Put the airport express close to or in your listening room. It should work well
