Concerts planned for 2016.

The "concerts planned" topic seems to have fallen by the wayside somewhat, so I thought I'd try to resurrect it with the following.
Massive Attack, at Leeds O2, on the 27th of this month.
Hoping for a chilled evening.
Dave.
Just bought tickets for Altan in London, Kings Place, April 9th.
A bit of a blast from the past, but Ocean Colour Scene supported by Shed 7 in Newcastle.
Also, James Morrison at Newcastle City Hall and later in the year Beth Hart at the Sage.

May 27: Teddy Thompson with Kelly Jones - Queens Hall, Edinburgh
May 29: Bonnie Rait - Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow
June 1: Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band - Hampden Park, Glasgow
June 5: Neil Young - SSE Hydro, Glasgow
Nov 10: Australian Pink Floyd - Usher Hall, Edinburgh
Fish - Salisbury
Phronesis - Watermill Dorking
Espen Eriksen Trio - Watermill Dorking
Tord Gustavsen - Turner Sims
Thomas Stronen Time Is A Blind Guide - Kings Place
Arve Henriksen - LSO St Lukes
Roger Hodgson - Royal Albert Hall

I went to see an acoustic set by Ocean Colour Scene last year. They were very good.
Although you say they are a bit of a blast from the past, I still think of them (despite the fact that until recently, they have been away from the music scene for many years) as promising up-and-coming youngsters. One of the few bands of their time that I really liked.
Must say something about our respective ages.
Field Music.................like Prince, but from Sunderland.
Indeed, endorsed by His Purpleness himself!
This Sunday, at the Duchess, York.
G.F.Handel- Teseo on friday

Ought to be OCS supporting Shed 7 for me - really good live.
Michael Head and the Red Elastic Band - Islington
The Coral - London somewhere can't remember
Love Revisited - The Brook Southampton
Admittedly a bit myopic.
Billy Bragg, in Ikley of all places 31st May. Love him. How the good burghers of that town will take to him is going to be interesting!

Nigel, I will look out for you......
Blimey you guys are so lucky over there. Tord Gustavsen at Turner Sims wow. I think all we've got to look forward to over here is Beyoncé in May at Levi Stadium.
Jeremy
Tord is only about £20. I bet bouncy costs a lot more.
Joe Bonamassa at The Plymouth Pavilions March 21. Never thought he would come down here
Anyone else in the area going.

Hi HH,
I'll be there too and would look out for you if I knew what you look like. Perhaps Naim should provide all Naim owners with badges!
Radiohead in NOS Alive, a summer festival in Lisbon...

I thought it was a wonderful concert, and such a good venue. It was good to bump into Adrian, who recognised me from Facebook, which was most impressive. No more concerts are planned this year, but loads of plays at the Chichester Festival Theatre.

It was good to see you Nigel. Turner Sims is a good venue. You really should go and see Phronesis there too!
I thought Tord, and particularly Simin Tander was absolutely wonderful. A super show.
I've been enjoying Jon Balke too. A nice recommendation.
Talking of Turner Sims, Southampton forth coming concerts include The Hot Club of Cowtown in April and The Darious Brubeck Quartet in June. Both return visits which must say something.
Dave
