Concerts planned for 2016.
Posted by: dave marshall on 12 January 2016
The "concerts planned" topic seems to have fallen by the wayside somewhat, so I thought I'd try to resurrect it with the following.
Massive Attack, at Leeds O2, on the 27th of this month.
Hoping for a chilled evening.
Dave.
Saw GORDON Lightfoot at Royal Albert Hall last month - great to see and witness an absolute legend - however the worst sound ever . Only 12 rows back and struggled to hear any of the instruments and poor Gordon's voice was lost . Complained to RAH - they said not their problem , promoters issue . Probably won't bother with RAH from here in

Black Sabbath in Leeds. 26 January
Thanks for posting this Iron as I'd missed that they'd announced any other dates in the UK.
Thankfully I've managed to get a ticket to Leeds , so I'm going as well. Loved them when I was younger (and still do) but have never (for a variety of reasons) managed to see them live.
It would have been a massive regret if I'd missed them this time. As someone that's now 50, I'm unreasonably excited about this concert for some reason!

James Bay, the week after next, at Scarborough Open Air Theatre...........................hope it stays dry.
Been familiarising myself with his music via Tidal this afternoon..............mighty impressive young singer / songwriter / guitarist, (IMHO).
Saw Carole King play in Hyde Park last night, after Don Henley gave a superb performance. Magical night of music, and both were on top form!

That does sound like a very good night.

James Bay, this evening, at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, and so far today, it remains dry, if not exactly sunny.
Fingers crossed.
Dead & Co. this coming Friday and Saturday (two shows, at our baseball park Fenway Park). Then Sir Paul the next night at the same venue. Then, if we can muster the energy, The Killers on Thursday evening (about a 2 hour drive away, so likely to stay overnight near the venue).
The Shires - Barbican, York - 8th Dwc
