Harbeth 30.1, were bought without auditioning due to limited mobility and not many dealers left with decent equipment/auditioning. Very happy with them. Great sounding, and (in rosewood) lovely to look at- in a very traditional speaker box

Audiovector SR3 Avantgarde Arrete. Used to have QLN Qubic 122 in the nineties and before that Audio Monitor 14 Gold in the eighties. Sweet memories! It's clear that speaker designs have moved on since that...

Still got my ESLs. One from 1960 and one from 1968. But no power amp or speaker wires!

I had decided to sell them, but something tells me not. I’ll part with one, for no doubt little money and save the other for the day I may assemble simple mono valve amplifier set. If I part with both, then I’ll never be able to have an ESL again I would think!

I am discovering the joys of the intimacy that headphones bring. There is a place for both approaches in my view.
