What speakers do you have?

I am interested to know what speakers you like and use.

A pair of maple DBLs, a pair of Neat Motive 2s, a pair of Naim nSats, a pair of KEF rdm one monitors, a Naim Axess centre speaker. And a sodding great 1,000 watt SVS active subwoofer.

A pair of nice black DBL's circa 2003 with a pair of 1991 Linn Isobariks relegated to storgage as I can't bring myself to sell them.

Seem to work nicely in my 4x7m room

My first set of speakers were Celestian Hadleigh speakers which I replaced with some bookshelf speakers that I made.  These were stolen along with the rest of my Hi Fi and so I made some floorstanders which were much better and I gave these to my next door neighbor a couple of weeks ago when I replaced them with another pair of speakers that I have just finished making.  SWMBO felt that the speakers were too large for the room.  These are 25mm shorter in height and stick out further into the room........They use Scanspeak drive units and are veneered in Maple.  They are still burning in but they are the best speakers that I have ever owned and I am not in a rush to replace them.

Totem Mani-2s, room layout allows 2-3' behind them, driven surprisingly well by SU but ready for when I upgrade

Spendor  D 7

Posted on: 18 January 2016 by Will99

Spendor A9 in piano black gloss finish.

Ex-demo from Spendor themselves (via my dealer of course). Apparently the only pair of A9's they have ever made in piano black. I guess the £1,500 price for that finish option might have something to do with that. The ex-demo price was right for me though.

Focal Aria 926

Posted on: 18 January 2016 by Dan43

Another Focal Aria 926 set here, and sounding very very good tonight....

Posted on: 18 January 2016 by Mike1380

Focal 826 W UK edition for me (the spiritual successor being the Aria 926... have heard a set and they are remarkably close to the 826W despite being less expensive).

Decision was lead by need to incorporate into a blended AV/2Ch system. Ignoring the AV side, in 2ch the 826 are underpinned with an MJ Ref200 sub running high level from the speaker terminals.

Ovator 400s. The Ovator series are THE definitive speaker to have with Naim gear. All the rest are inadequate pretenders.

To Kiwi, Love the humour , I love a bit of sarcasm....fair play to you

Ovator S-400s here too. I think they are rather good.
