Chord Signature Tuned Aray Din to XLR

I was offered this cable at a good discount for my NAP 300: is this cable worth the price ?

Thanks

I used the STA Din-XLR until recently upgrading to the Super Aray. Yes it works very well indeed, especially if you're getting a good discount. It's a significant improvement over the stock cable. You can also upgrade to the Super Aray for about £500. If you can get a home demo you'll hear the improvement for yourself.

Good luck.

Thanks for your reply Steve.

How does the 500GBP upgrade works ?

I purchased one about 9 months ago and am very pleased with it. It is certainly an improvement (on my 250) over the standard cable.

How big was the improvement in terms of sound quality ? How would you describe it: tighter bass ? Voice clarity ? ....

I'd be looking at speaker cables before the din to XLR. Don't forget that you need two with a 300, so it won't be cheap.

More clarity with a smoother treble. Certainly a tighter and better defined bass with more weight as well.

I use STA on my NAP500.  Highly recommended.

Changing the DIN-XLR was a major upgrade (from standard to Chord Sarum Tuned Array), only beaten by changing the Naim PowerLines to Chord Sarum Tuned Array PowerLines.

Now upgraded to Super versions.
