Time limit on editing posts?

Time limit on editing posts?

This seems to have been implemented, and though I like to correct errors of syntax, spelling, and style in my posts, generally this time limit is to be welcomed for obvious reasons.

Please would one our moderators like to officially comment on how long we have to edit our posts, before the editing facility is cut?

PS: I have found a good way to get rid of so much wasted space on the right. Magnify the image to 125 or 150 procent. Then the posts are easier to read, and the right margin is much reduced.
