Douglas Coupland came up with one many years ago for his book 'Shampoo Planet' to cover the elements of life in the early 90's.

For those who strain to see the above: Sh - Shampoo, Za - Pizza, Ce - Credit Card, We - Marriage, Mi -Microwave, etc.

Just clicking through the detailed explanations on the original link I remembered another of those b***ocks theories that might be a little closer to home.

If you you play Pink Floyd's 'Dar Side of the Moon' audio and the video of 'The Wizard of Oz' synching them at the same start point 'it is amazing how many times they synch up'.

Funny it wasn't mentioned on the 'Classic Albums' programme about it.

To be honest you can play just about any piece of music and any film for around half an hour and the beat of the songs will synch to people walking, or a few cymbal crashes will happen at an edit, or when something is dropped, etc. The mind just likes to synch things to try and make sense of them, otherwise showing us 25 still images each second while some sounds play along wouldn't have become the multi million dollar industry it has.

Still room for a few suggestions to try it with, mine would be 'The Best of Bing Crosby' and 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'.
