Yes, someone knows.
Not me, however. But I would bet money that they will at some point and hopefully sooner than later. I would love to be able to offer my customers a streamer in the $2000 to $3,500 USD range. A Qute can work in this position but the nStream app remote control of the whole system (as with the NDX) and better, PS upgradeable sound and matching form factor will hit the spot.
I don't see them developing any new CD players and as the streamer is the new de-facto source in the digital age, it is the obvious next step to fit these in where the current CD player models now live.
But what I'm really waiting for are in-ceiling/ in/wall speakers utilizing BMR technology. And stand mount speakers also.
