Opinions on Pure Music 1.8?

Upgraded to version 1.8. Sounds really great, hard to tell if it sounds better than the previous version. Has anyone else listened to it yet?

Shouldn't...but can affect responsiveness in tandem with NAS hardware specification

AHHHHHHHHH.  Performance.  Not SQ.  For some reason I read it that way. 

 

And yes I fully get the performance point.  I have tried MANY ways of moving music around with just as many control points.  There is something to be said about system synergy (for lack of a better word).
