Muso wireless conetions

Am thinking of buying a muso in the next week or so, what is the best or the most stable way to run the muso on a wireless connection, as i have read there are more than one way to  do this, ie via browser or the naim app, would appreciate your suggestions, thanks John

I see no-one has replied, which may be because it isn't clear what you are asking. You can certainly use your muso on wifi if you want to, although generally people agree that hard wiring with Ethernet can give overall better sound quality and you are less likely to run into problems with the wifi causing drop-outs etc. But if you wifi signal is strong and you don't have lots of other people using your wifi or interfering with it in properties close by, it will be fine. Regardless whether you use wifi or not for your muso,  you can use the naim app on IOS or Android, over wifi,  to control the muso and there is no advantage to trying to do it any other way.

I hope this helps but if it isn't answering your question, please elaborate and one of the members here will no doubt be able to.

best

We have one Mu-So  running wired from a switch and another running wireless from a hub. They both run faultlessly and are operated my the Naim app, one using an iPhone and the other using an iPad mini. They both do iRadio and UPnP WAV up to 24/192.

should be fine in front room as i get over 100 mbs, not so sure in back room where i only get around 12 mbs via wi fi booster, have got so home plugs might be better with them in the back room, will have to try when i get my muso, thanks for the replys,

Bandwidth isn't a limiting factor here, I can reliably stream Tidal at CD quality on a 4MB broadband line. I would try without the homeplugs first. They can work, but they can also bring their own problems such as RFI.
