What colour are your speaker cables?

Mine are black on my main system and white on my second system.
What colour are your speaker cables?
I've got runs of black NACA5 to the active left speaker's three drivers and white to the right ones, to prevent confusion betwixt left & right when wiring them all up. Except for the midrange drivers, which are the other way round.
Colour? How awfully passé. I paid extra for the Klingon cloaking device on my Super Lumina cables to make them invisible.

John.
Purple has the most ram.
(For fans of dilbert)
TQ black is the new NAC black
Copper colour in a transparent sheath. Why?
count.d posted:That pipe insulation is too dense for isolating the speakers cables. Needs to be much thicker, softer & lighter. Foam that is typically sold as sound insulation is better and I'll leave it with you to find your ideal grade.
Aeroflex is what you need.
My cable is so exotic and exclusive that it is invisible to the naked eye!
Last checked it was black!
Chosen to match the Colour of the Naim factory supplied power cord!

Where did you buy it? ..and how much was it per metre? ..and does it come factory terminated with banana plugs?
I bought a 50metre reel of some wonderful bronze coloured wire from Amazon for a shade under twenty pounds (for the whole 50m ). Compared to NAC05, it's bronzier and smaller and more flexible, ideal really. There is a difference in music presentation between the two, but if you can live with this, you can save pounds and pounds and buy yourself a whole bunch more MP3 downloads.
SuperLumina colour - don't even know how to begin to describe it...![]()
Brown.

That's what I initially thought... It's more like dried up mustard, gone wrong in the Luminous sunshine
Just changed. Now black. ![]()
Copper coloured (with green, black, white and red insulation), covered in a grey sheath.
But what I really want is transparent.
N.B. not transparent over a metallic conductor, transparent throughout! ![]()
Full black, as is pretty much every equipment and rack I have. Only other color is the beautiful green glow from Naim logos.
Inky black.

My profound apologies to any of our Klingon audiophile friends looking in. My sign-off phrase apparently means "Where's the toilet?" (yes, really).
Hopefully that will obviate any unintentional offence caused and photon torpedoes aimed in this direction. Phew!
John.
Does Naim make a speaker cable with the 'Union Jack' sleeve? Kind of like that 'Union Jack' Rega turntable look. Now that would be pretty cool to look at across my listening space.

I think foreign language other than 'english' is against forum rules/policies here on the forum.
Van Damme 2 x 6mm cables in figure of 8 configuration from Mark Grant Cables. Clear insulation over copper conductors. Very transparent sounding!
What colour cables do others find give the best SQ?
I find that Transparent cables always give the clearest sound...
Albeit with a slight glassiness in the high frequencies.
Indeed.
I cannot recall another thread that was meant to be taken less seriously than this one!
It'd be much more significant if the conductors were transparent as well, just as the inky blackness is only complete when the conductors are also completely black.
