Vimar brand, real wall receptacles in a sturdy plastic case, factory wired point to point with soldered solid state copper cable. I simply added 3x1.5 silicone cord and a good Schuko plug. €25.
Ok, more €30.
Most people know I have the best block, but I'm not one for boasting.
This, but in a more stylish black:

Glad I read this. I had no idea what a power bar was. Learn so much on here.

SL Waber 20amp. Industrial Power Strip.
I've just bought a wireworld matrix block & was wondering if those that have one are wall mounting on the tabs or just site it on the floor? Any diff in SQ from either?? Using with a NA std mains lead...
thanks
A rather old Russ Andrews six-way block for me. It's the oldest component in my system and is a legacy from the time about 15 years ago that I installed a dedicated rings-main for the hi-fi while redecorating the lounge/listening room. I used RA mains cable in the rings-main so it made sense to use the RA wall sockets and power-block as well. RA uses a weave which is meant to resist RFI and I must say my mains has been very quiet since it was all installed.
Custom Hifi Cables Powerblack distribution block with six iec outlets. Great build and sound improved over Russ Andrews Powerblack it replaced.

I have turned the mounting slots around (you need an imperial Allen key for this) and 'hang' my Wireworld on hooks I have screwed into the skirting board. Don't know if it sounds better that way, I just think it might compared to plonking it on the carpet where it is more susceptible to vibrations and is also removed from all the other wiring.

AV Options - Just Installed today
Only have two power cables going to a BIS duplex AC wall outlet (actually made by Hubbell, I think) to a designated 20 amp breaker using 12 gauge Romex.
