NDX Settings

Hi, recently factory reset the NDX due to conflict between IPhone and IPad losing connection. This resolved the problem however when I change between Server and radio the preset on the SN2 jumps from CD (normal for playback) to the aux 1 button. The same applies when I try to return from radio back the other way. I have an NDac in the system. I have run through system automation but something ain't right. I could benefit in having the full menu explained as I did not make a note of all the various settings before hitting reset!! Won't do that again. Any advice much appreciated.

As for SN2 - page E8, section 7.1 deals with the automated input switching.

Yes its a PITA, but not impossible when you take your time. Give it a go, but if you get stuck I have NDX & SN with a separate radio that auto switched input buttons. I can read & relay the settings to you, problem is I'm not home until after midnight, but can help in the morning.

This short thread (along with many others on the forum) is such a great example of how helpful and useful knowledgable members can be.

I like to think of myself as pretty tech savvy but I have often saved myself considerable money (and time) due to the helpful advise found on these pages.

I have made a record of my settings this morning just in case of need for a Factory Reset

(time & frustration avoidance)

I have NDX with separate NAT-05 FM Tuner (no CD Player)

Via Naim app

All NDX inputs (iRadio, NAS, Tidal etc) auto switches to SN(1) CD button

NAT auto switches to SN(1) Tuner Button

Naim app Input Settings

Pre Tuner (renamed) FM Radio

Naim Display

System Automation

Pre-Amp > Enabled

- Pre CD > No

- FM Radio (Pre-Tuner) > Yes

- Pre HDD > Disabled

- Pre AV > Disabled

- Pre Aux1 > Disabled

- Pre Aux2 > Disabled

DAC > No

Streamer Audio > Pre CD

CD Player > No

Advanced Setting > No Entry - Don't Touch
