SBL Crossovers

Posted by: progan on 30 January 2016

Hi

Trying to find out how old my crossovers are. They don't have a little white sticker on them , just one blue and a yellow circular sticker with 708 709 on them respectively . They are 1988 SBLs. Any ideas?

Thanks

What are the serial numbers on the SBLs? [usually the same number]. You can look up the year of manufacture from the serial number.

If you don't know the history of your SBLs there's no knowing for sure how old the x-overs are, they may of been used actively by a previous owner, and then passively with x-overs attached at a later date. But i would think most SBLs were used passive so would have had x-overs from new.
